Michelle grew up in an unconventional, nonreligious practicing home. At the age of 21, Michelle had her first child and believed she needed to create a more structured, Christian home for her daughter. At the age of 23, Michelle married and became part of the Seven Day Adventist religion. After 11 faithful years in the church, she had what she calls her “awakening”. With that, over the next several years, her knowledge of what she thought was “right” eventually was stripped away and she became humbled with nonjudgmental love for ALL of humanity. Ironically, with this realization, as well as moving away from the church and religion all together, Michelle found these were the essence of the teachings within the writings of the Bible.
Being humbled by this experience and beginning a new spiritual journey, Michelle began studying many religions/beliefs, as well as the history behind Christianity. Her mind became less judgmental of others, and she began working on her own self growth and love within her. She found the practices of Abraham Hicks and the Laws of Attraction (L.O.A.) around 2018. Though Michelle is not fond of titles, if one were given to her spiritually speaking, she considers herself most like a Universalist. This is concluded by her belief that all religions and experiences boil down to a duality of LOVE and FEAR or WANTS and DON’T WANTS. Michelle believes we are each on our own journey in this space and time on earth and what we do with our time matters, because it is a limited gift. She believes we are by nature, Creators and how we direct our path is ultimately up to us. Finding a path that fills us with the most love and joy in our lives is desired and attainable moment to moment depending on what our focus is. Being mindful of our thoughts and focus takes practice. Though this concept seems simple, she finds herself needing to be reminded daily. Michelle hopes to be remembered by others she encounters in this lifetime by spreading kindness, love, and a positive outlook. (10/2024)
